David Smith serves as the recruiting coordinator for Women's Basketball at Great Lakes Christian College. Smith is a USA/NCAA certified coach for the Michigan Mystics Girls Basketball Club and Program Director for PABAAU.net. He is the owner of PlayAllSports.net, PlayAllMedia.net and ReadyGear.club. In the past, he served as a recruiting coordinator at The University of Olivet, Schoolcraft College, assistant women's basketball coach at Rochester Christian University, head varsity girls' basketball coach at Walled Lake Western High School and head varsity boys' basketball coach at Frankel Jewish Academy. Smith owns a State Farm Insurance Agency in Clarkston, Michigan and served six years as Trustee for Waterford Schools Board of Education. He is a graduate of Illinois State University, where he played outside linebacker for the Redbirds from 1986-1990. Smith currently serves on the Girls Gear Foundation Board of Directors, Michigan State Board of Chiropractic and Chairs the Rochester Christian University Foundation Board of Directors. He is a native of Indiana and moved to Michigan in 1997 with his wife Dee who is a teacher in Clarkston. Dave and Dee have three children and reside in Waterford, Michigan. Their two oldest children, Kendall and Rachel, both graduated from Waterford Kettering High School and played college basketball at Northwood University and Rochester University respectively. Their youngest son, Denton, played four years on the Rochester University Men's Basketball team and won a Class A State Championsip with Clarkston.
